" I replied no they asked "Oh have you had one already ?" when I responded no and I don t know how you got this number they said "Oh I m sorry I ll have your number and details removed....." I hung up.

Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". Useless. A websearch for Stellar suggests 01294 225300. Calling that number: 1) they confirm the 0800 044 5265 caller ID is them calling on behalf of BT. 2) They ll remove our number from

Keep getting random calls from this number, some say marketing some say debt collectors. I owe nothing to anyone so rules out the latter and I an registered with TPS so that SHOULD rule out the first. Upon answering I got Can I get your name please? SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people.
