I asked what case (puzzled) and he said have you got any credit cards or store cards or phone bills debt. I said no to each one then he said ok thanks it must be a mistake. This girl with an asian or indian accent said she was from BT asked me go to my computer and follow her instructions for fix foreign IP access - sounded like a scam so hung up
SCAM Very stern and meanacing sounding man who introduced himself as an 'officer' said my national insurance number (UK) had been suspended due to some repeat offences. He then invited me to speak to another 'officer' if I pressed '1'. I burst out laughing and ended the call. Remember no Government Department will call you in this way.
Suddenly lots of calls from this and similar number. Don't usually give number out so must have been sold on. If re utilities, don't have them so purely speculative - no connection
