Fraud SCAM Cllaims to be an HMRC Call back threatening legal action. Further search online shows this to be a fraudulent call. HMRC NEVER do this.
Didn't answer them, they left no voicemail. I've been applying for loads of jobs recently so I assume it's either a call centre regarding that, or my numbers been sold on. Fraud - received an SMS saying it was from the NHS and I'd been in close contact with someone who has COVID and to order a test from a link in the SMS. Stupidly, I clicked on the link, and entered card details for Postage of a PCR. RBS got in touch and cancelled the card, although 2 large transactions had been attempted. DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS IN ANY SMS OR ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I’m a cautious type, but they fooled me
Got a call from this number today and I see people are saying it’s a scam. She asked if I was a housing tenet and did I have any repairs that haven’t been done. She meant mould and such but I don’t know what she could scam me out of. If anyone knows could they tell me worried about this.

Parts of this was in bold to make it seem urgent. I'm not expecting any delivery from Evri. But I checked with the Evri app anyway. Nothing showing! I suspect this is a scam, taking advantage of the Christmas shopping period.

This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. Under MRS T&C a company is obliged to reveal the name of the company hes calling from and this guy didnt want to do that. It is some coward sitting at home making false calls, harassing people, he should come out of his phone face-to-face and then i will show him how to hide behind the phone and harass people.

If you speak, the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will be logged, a scammer will then call you later! They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.

I rang the number 01634250475 & noted when I checked with "who called me" that it stated it was Halifax Bank. So I rang the number and lady with foreign accent answered but she was not employed by Halifax bank so I put the phone down. Hope this helps somewon.
