Fraud This number was given to a very vulnerable elderly friend of mine for her to confirm a transaction on her debit card. Fortunately her bank did not sanction the transaction. The number is for a hotel in Vietnam!

Fraud Sent me a txt message claiming to be from the Halifax saying I had set up a direct debit to screwfix and to call this number if I had not done this. Put me on hold then a chap with a foreign accent asked me for details, I said I will double check with my online banking and he hung up. Scam

I received a t/c from (004)91113279026 today 27/4/22, at 13.56hrs to my L/L. I answered without saying anything, and the caller who said nothing, hung up. I live in the Hove area of Sussex. Given that the Phone Number Localisation 091113279026 is New Delhi, India, it is probably a scammer.

Told him EE have my email address, to email me and then he said only the marketing department will have that...Told him I don't agree to just anyone claiming to be from EE to get money out of me for a contract I can't see. SCAM call. Automated message, no introduction just I have authorised a money transfer and spent £400 on Amazon which I had not. Wanted me to press 1 to ok 2 to dispute or 3 to speak to an advisor. I hung up as it's an obvious scam. Be careful as all these ways of getting your details are sometimes convincing. Not today though !!!

Received a call purporting to be US (?) customs regarding outstanding tax, threatening legal action and suggesting press 1. All the evidence was a scam but potentially dangerous as having connected all personal data might be at risk
