I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Out of curiosity, I called the (Bristol) number back, but the person who answered said they hadn't used their phone this morning (and sounded nothing like the first caller). Safe number Received a call from 03333440000 trying to give me a text message to my landline. I hung up. Then I decided to check them out and it turned out to be a GENUINE COMPANY called AQL who were simply trying to give me a message. I called 03333446527 to retrieve my message which was from a NHS supplier. The message was important to me! Why the NHS supplier chose to send a text to my landline when they have my mobile number is a mystery to me. No worries here.

Phone call received at 1105hrs this morning ( 12th April ) caller with an Asian accent introduced herself as Mary from Sky Technical support advising me that they had received several reports that my internet was causing problems. I terminated the call at this point.

cheeky twat! asking about our electricity contract at our new showroom - no new shrowroom - tried to start an argument saying we did have a new showroom- wouldnt take no for an answer! called again 3 hours later what a pain in the a**e!
This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.

SCAM Southern english scammers currently calling themselves "fixed income team" also reached by calling 08003213781 (provided again to these crooks by Vodafone!). One of them has been pretending to be Evan Hanna of Merrill Lynch selling fake Diageo bonds.
The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.
