This came up as an international number, the guy claimed he was from Talk Talk who I left 5 years ago. I hung up and suggest you do the same.

The caller was an automated voice claiming to be the HMRC. I was told that legal action was being taken against me for tax evasion and that I needed to press 1 on the keypad to get more information. Instead of doing that, I hung up and logged into my account online; nothing of the sort has appeared on my account, so I have to assume this is a scam aiming to get personal information from people

This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). Came up from darlington. This person named copeland called re: bing verification of business listing I said I was already verified but had a duplicate listing, any how this person was rude, overbearing and aggressive, and refused to listen to any thing I said saying (he was going to hang up as he didnt like how i spoke to him) imagine that, I have the call recorded and saved on file.
American voice telling me that my Amazon Prime account ( that I do not have) has been hacked so press 1 to deal with it.
I rang this number as called at 18.30pm and the ring tone sounded international then got put through to a robotic voice that just said all my agents are busy right now I’ll be sure to call you back! Blocked!
