I rang British Gas to arrange a service and asked them not to pass my number on to anyone else. Got a call asking for feedback 30 minutes later. Did not answer and blocked the number. Think I will have to get service from elsewhere if they ignore what I ask in future.

The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up.
