Cold call claiming to be from British Gas saying they are installing meters in my area when I asked what area that is the guy disconnected the call

SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.

Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.

Ozval se mně ženský hlas s otázkou, zda jsem jim volal. Odpověděl jsem, že nikoliv a demokraticky jsem se zeptal , kdo že mě tedy od nich volá! SCAM!! A female with an Asian accent. Asked to speak to Mr XXXX (if you are going to scam someone at least get their gender right). Asking if I could secure whether I had any unsecured debt. Heavy Asian accent, claimed to be from Citizens Advice Bureau. Asked me how I was today, I said I was fine except that my leg had just fallen off. Strangely enough, he hung up. Obvious scammers, blocked and reported.

At least three more calls to my mobile this last fortnight between 19 and 30 March all of which were intentionall unanswered

Fraud company ,automated at first giving scam info about unauthorised charges ,be aware do not pass your info.

Posh lady pretending to be my (unnamed) bank, saying there had been an unauthorised transfer to Amazon and a foreign money transfer. 'Just press 1 and we'll sort it out'!! Obvious SCAM
