SCAM - Recorded message claiming to have noted fraudulent activity associated with my National Insurance number. Instructed to press 1 to speak with an officer. Very worrying language and potential for people to get scammed.
I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.

Had a few calls today from this number, the last one just now at almost 11.30 at night. Can t say what I would do to them given a chance. That s not just a nuisance (non) call, how dare they ring so late at night? Something really needs to be done. We are on the telephone preference list, and that seems to no longer make any difference. These disgusting excuses for humans should be prosecuted and locked up forever.

this number rings us daily, every time you answer theres silence then a loud "BEEAAARR" sound and the line goes dead. we are in dorking and 01306 is our local code, presume some spammer/scammer/marketer spoofing the number, or calling from a VOIP number, hoping we d be more likely to answer a local code call. From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account!
