Girl called to say they were a legal firm calling about a minor accident I was reportedly involved in around 2014. Hung up.

I got a call from this number. They told me that I was invlolved in some accident 2.5 years ago, but I was never involved in any accident as I don't have even a bicycle.

On answering refused to provide company name and address, was also decline employees name. Then the phone was put down by the firm that called on me. I only sourced this number due to some detective work. Avoid this company. Disrepectful scum

I didn't recognise the number or even the area code so I didn't answer the call.

0131 236 2099 I received a call from this number on my iPhone. Nobody spoke and then I noticed that the RED disconnect button was disabled. I could not disconnect from the line....

I answered a call from this number but utter silence. Tried phoning it back using 1471 and received a recorded message that the 'number had changed' to 070 4000 1234....

I have had 2 calls in the space of 2 hours about an alleged accident on the road. i have never had an accident and they cannot tell me what details they have about this so called accident. The first caller said they would remove my details but it didn t stop the second call 2 hours later.

Several calls over the last couple of months about some kind loft 'lagging' insulation.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

This number sent me an unsolicited text with an attachment described as a picture for me. Clearly a scam/virus/phishing. Deleted without opening, beware!!

Auto dialler, female robot voice, Amazon Prime scam call to TPS registered number. The Government and the Police need to get these scammers and lock them up permanently.
