SCAM Text from this number supposidly from HSBC Bank about a payment from my account. I don't have an HSBC account. BEWARE
100% trustworthy because no-one has said otherwise yet????? Thats hardly a way to grade something. Maybe its 100% Scam but no-one has said otherwise. Other websites say its Indian call centres asking for details claim to be EE or o2 or Virgin so that doesnt sound very authentic does it - and if you havent asked for Indian call centres to call you its spam and a likely fraud
SPAM Woman "just checking if you have had your energy survey done". When I interrupted her to say I was not the homeowner she immediately put the phone down. Very annoying! Number now blocked.

28/6/2022 09:50hrs Automated male US sounding voice stating legal action launched for tax evasion, and must press 1 to avoid legal action.

SPAM Call to my landline @ 10.04 am. Recorded message saying they were calling about a potentially fraudulent £600 charge on my debit card abroad. No mention of bank. Was asked to press 1 to confirm the charge or 2 to speak to an advisor. Hung up.

Scam. tried to sell something, then when I said not interested, asking where they got my name and number, they changed what they were selling, becoming forceful. I kindly said that they should remove my details from their list and not call again, suggesting they were acting illegally, because I am listed in the TPS, then they slammed the phone down on me.
Called me; recorded message started 'This is a Bank Notification'. We have received two charges . .' Obvious nonsense, I ended the call.. This has all the hallmarks of a potential SCAM. Do not respond.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. called today claiming to be from UK health security agency regarding covid 19 vaccination status. uttered obscenities and hung up when questioned about why they were using an inactive mobile number to initiate the call. had details of the street that i stay in.
Didn't answer. Looked it and and over a dozen reports of various scam attempts including pretending to be HMRC.
Claimed they were calling from my bank but never told me which bank. Their claim was my account had been scammed with two transactions for large amounts over £1000,00 and they needed to authorise the payments.

Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.
