A lady claiming she was from century finance saying my loan application had been accepted and I paid the 75 pounds to them then when paid they said money would be in by 2:20 this afternoon and was never in when I rang back to get my money back. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases free boiler replacement scam). I recommend to block the whole 84305006xx range... Did someone answer this number?

Received many calls from this number in one day. Each time we answer, silence. When returning the call it goes straight to playing music, no recorded voice or anything. Worried this may be a scam to get you to spend loads on calling them!

Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 118328xxxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. SCAM / SPAM Scam call claiming to be calling from Sky, telling me to switch my computer on as there is a problem with my internet. Told her I'm not a Sky customer and my internet is working fine, then I hung up. Obviously a scam to try and access people's devices and details for nefarious purposes.

This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. No one would have done that, or know to do that (the mobile number is not readily available). Three hours later they rang again and, when I answered, hung up. H
