This number phoned us 4 times in a row and did not leave a message on the answer pnone, but did not hang up. There was a lot of traffic noise, like horns blaring, sirens, motorb...
The caller was an automated voice claiming to be the HMRC. I was told that legal action was being taken against me for tax evasion and that I needed to press 1 on the keypad to get more information. Instead of doing that, I hung up and logged into my account online; nothing of the sort has appeared on my account, so I have to assume this is a scam aiming to get personal information from people

Same story as these, he d get us to find people with debts, take a fee from them and then cut off all contact with them. Supposedly we d get a commission for every job taken on, but he d tell us that the person had decided not to go ahead with recovering their debt and so we got nothing.
