Missed call

I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.

Who is this call from

We received a strange call from this number but seemed to come via New Zealand (but the number is too long for NZ). The caller asked me how I was etc, etc. but not a good line. When asked who she wanted to speak to hung up.

This number has been calling several times a day for weeks

The company is TNS a survey company who do not take your number off their calling list when asked. Anybody know a directors home telephone number,so we can call them back at inconvenient times

Automated call. Accident at this address. Complete Lie. Should be banned for harassment.

The usual PPI story. Have had countless calls over recent months. Even pressing 5 for next stage elicits a recorded message. Eventually line went dead.

These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.

Hi I worked for this company. They buy your details from either the blackmarket or datasets where you have opted in. So if you bought something somewhere online that required your number chances are you inadvertently opted in. They use a network of local numbers to seem reputable. The liverpool branch specialises in road traffic accident. They ll fish about for details asking you that they were informed a car accident was reported by your household within the last 2.5-3 years. "Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". Used to use Utility Wise, didn t realise my contracts were coming up until i got inundated with calls from brokers and suppliers. After getting a couple of quotes which weren t appealing at all, i decided to have a look online in which i found some much better prices. online. However, Kish was able to grab me an even better deal on the first call without giving him any rates. i ve since been using him for a while as our company deals in property management, those pennies really do add up to thousands.
