This number called and "released a lock issue" on my computer, Claimed to be Microsoft. He then chased up regularly for £500 in payment. Spoiler alert - Microsoft don't use this number. This male pretended to be called Alvin. Avoid as extremely convincing and dangerous criminal scam

Very suspicious but I can't work out what is happening??? A guy called me saying he had a missed call from me. I didn't recognize his number and thought it would be very unlikely for me to ring a random number like that by accident. He insisted that I had called him though and he was merely calling back. Checked my dialed call log - no I hadn't called him!!! I'm therefore trying to work out what the scam might be???

Banking scam. Tried to get me to move money into a new "safe" account. Told them where to go and hung up. Please beware of this type of fraud.

Cold call, from Scammer, wanted to me to invest in bitcoin or similar crypto currency.

This is a scam called refering to Amazon money coming out of your bank account. DO NOT press any of the numbers that are given in the call.

No name given. He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

Scam artists who'll lie that they're your energy provider, they're not just trying to move you onto their services anyway possible. This has been happening for years to me different number everytime and they'll agree with anything I say. Lately they've tried to be National Grid, they're desperate for my meter readings. I have checked it is not my supplier. They're a very coniving and devious organisation - whoever they may be.

Although this is a local area code, the automated message upon picking up the phone said…’Dear Customer, your Amazon Prime membership has expired and you have been charged £95…’ I hung up the phone before listening to the rest of the message! 07969371625 called 9May23 at 10:51 hours with exact same recorded message as 020704859199 called 5 May 23 at 14:40hrs, recorded message.... along the lines... "Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". Caller did not identify who was calling
