Caller said he was from Sky (my ISP) and the call was about internet connection. There is no reason for Sky to call me from Birmingham, and certainly not with a long delay after I had answered the phone, and definitely not with a strong non-British accent.
An automated woman’s voice supposedly calling from BT saying that my internet would be terminated in 24 hours unless I change my IP address, whatever that is. Total scam as I am not even with BT and I have received this same message several times before from different telephone numbers.

But I am failing to see what the ‘purpose’ of this scam call is since i wasn’t asked for anything? Amazon said they will probably call later and ask for payment.
