This number together with other number within the range of 07957 422000 to 07957 422999 is being used by the National Crime Agency (NCA) scammers trying to target UK citizens to get them to reveal data to them and probably to ripped off your Bank details. I have had 4 calls in the last 24 hours from 4 seaparate numbers within the above range. I was already aware of this scam so I did not press 1 after listerning to the automated message. Normally I don't answer unknown numbers but expecting an engineer.

called alot so i answered a few times without speaking and they hung up immediately. Then i answered and went along with "the nice man from Microsoft" who wanted to "fix" my computer. When i got to a step that would do something to my computer i told him i thought he was a fake and a terrible person for sucking people in and he got really angry and went off! These people are scum for hoaxing people who don t know computers, particularly elderly folk.

getting calls from this number at least 10 times a day - seems to be a computer that calls you. I have tried pressing option to speak to a human who say they can t remove you. Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.
Automated message left on answering machine claiming to be from HM Customs & Revenue saying that a serious law suit had been entered against my name and that it was time sensitive. I must urgently call the woman back ot otherwise could be liable for heavy costs.

To call TPS reg number is against the law. Asked to speak with his manager Oliver who did not seem concerned. I repeatedly asked to be put through to his manager which he refused, 'saying no one was available'. Asked for the Compliance Officer again he refused.

I have caller display and never answer a call with a number I don t recognise. TPS is useless as these scam merchants don t use the listings anyway, and TPS cannot do anything about it. ICO doesn t seem to do much either. Simply let it ring... my answer-phone kicks in after twenty rings and is completely blank. I know who might call me and which calls I will answer.

Sadly I get scam callers daily, I can tell if it's going to be a proper business call or a scammer by the amount of time it takes to connect, if it takes some time then I know its connecting to a scam call centre on the Indian continent, I can predict they will have an Indian accent and an English Christian name.
