FRAUD ‘phone call from +44 2083684454 (This call originates from a bit of pavement in Trafalgar Square, Central London!) It’s a scam telling you of an “unauthorised” VISA payment on your account. (Even if you don’t have a VISA account! It encourages you to press 1 to speak to an adviser (someone will answer but however reassuring they are they DON’T work for VISA. They will keep you on the line while they empty your bank account after which, you’ll have lost all your money to them! DON’T press 1! Hang

Whoever they ask for tell them to remove your number and do not confirm any information with whatsoever; it will be sold to others even if you answer no to questions like "have you had an endowment policy" (see another post elsewhere online. Wow, had a call from this number today. I dont usually answer these numbers but I was bored so I thought I'd have a bit of fun and boy was it a shock. What I got was an incoherent, female voice screaming down the phone. The line was not good so I wasn't sure if she was speaking English or not but I never got one word of what was said. After about 20 seconds she hung up. I stood there baffled scratching my head for a short while before heading here to check it out. I'm still baffled!
