I called it back and it rang for 1 ring and again it hung up. checking my phone records I've had a few calls and it is a, "Recently had an accident call" . This a nuisance call. Rude ppi people. They hang up and try again with different agents. I just give them a lot of shit until they hang up. I try to be as graphic and outrageous as possible with my insults just to make them hate their jobs.

This number called and left no message on my mobile so I called it back from my work landline. It is a company who said they were calling me about my recent all inclusive holiday that I was due to get a refund from to be sent to my home address. Told her I hadn't had an all inclusive holiday and she said she would remove my details from the system - impossible since I didn't tell her who I was or gave my number.

This number called my 90 year old mother posing as the fraud department from the Bank of Scotland. He said 2 lots of money had left her account and they were chasing this up. Thankfully she phoned the bank and it was confirmed that these transactions had not happened. It was a scam, I think to get her personal details, not any account numbers - perhaps identity theft. He phoned her again today apologising for not phoning back yesterday but my mum was very blunt with her replies and he hung up.
