Hard to know whether or not this was a scam call though it had some hallmarks. The caller's voice sounded like someone who phoned from a different number only yesterday and the MO was similar. She asked to speak with Mrs N (my mother) and when I said she wasn't available she couldn't get off the phone quickly enough; refused to share the name of the organisation she was calling from and said she'd get someone to call later. I don't think this is the way legit businesses operate. I blocked the number.

Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. They have no legal basis to chase most debts but they lie and say they have. Best ignore them, say nothing and hang up.
