SCAM. The full number is 0049 3549 72863, which suggests it is from Germany, though the man on the phone had an Indian accent. He claimed to be from 'Sky's Technical Department' and he'd had a report that my internet was running slow. Which was strange, because I hadn't reported any such fault and my internet is working fine/ So I strongly suspected it wasn't a genuine call from Sky and hung up.

Asked me about a recent accident I ve apparently had at work and then asked for my bank details so they can "confirm my identity", even though they wouldn t give me their name, the company name, or the nature of the accident
PPI or some such rubbish. I ve never had a mortgage and I don t have PPI, mis-sold or otherwise!
Claim to be from BT Openreach, saying our IP address has been hacked and being used by someone else. I said I didn't believe her, she said "You don't belieb?", then hanged up.
Telephoned 7.45am No one spoke. I assumed possible voice activated with fraud/scam intent

This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.

Call a person /persons I m assisting simply don t communicate by phone ignore, block , change number. Check if debt is enforceable if not don t pay it ,arrange repayment by letter if you wish or request they take you to court and then leave it until you hear from the court. SCAM / SPAM Phoned me asking details about a car accident compensation claim, they knew my name and address Probably a Phishing SCAM looking for more details, asked to speak with the supervisor and they hung up. As a Three mobile customer with a brand new number who doesn't share my anything on social media and is very wary of who has my number I suspect the Indian call center staff who work at Three is selling my details no other people have my details.
I do not know this person and when i try and call them back, it does not even ring. I think this is a scammer and should be stopped
kept leaving me voicemails saying my number was being removed from their database but still kept ringing, even after 8pm!!!
Had a call from this number 17th October. Caller with very strong Asian accent said he wanted to talk about my personal pension details. I ended the call immediately.
