If a transfer was "Unauthorised", then it should have been declined by the issuing bank, if not, the 'bank' would be liable! Called today in reference to reducing my debt i asked how they had acquired the number asked for the number to be removed from data base they hung up.
I do not know this person and when i try and call them back, it does not even ring. I think this is a scammer and should be stopped
POSSIBLE SCAM A female caller "Jess" said she was from Solar Energy Advice Ltd , offering reduced cost equipment in return for using it in a promotion. I asked if she had heard of the TPS, and her silence indicated she had not. I told her that unsolicited calls to a TPS registered number, without checking the TPS list, could mean a £5000 fine for her company. Then I hung up. A Google search for the company name shows NO company with that name appears to exist in the UK.
