I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.

SCAM This number called me today. It was a bot voice claimed it is from UK HMRC and asked me to press 1 to speak to an officer. I didn't press, but it is highly suspicious.

This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. This was also the name that came up on our office phones when we received the call. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/jake-stacey-727b49196 He asked to speak to my director (only using his first name only) I advised he was not available and that I would take a message etc. I asked what the call was regarding so I could make sure my director receives his call and it was about overs

I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. I live in East Yorkshire. Tel. No. 01274 318449 called on my landline while I was out. I don't have an answer machine so haven't a clue who this is so cannot say anything negative about this number.

SCAM, DANGEROUS Claimed to be Steven from Microsoft and there was a problem with my computer. He tried the usual of scaring me into thinking was something wrong – this time by looking at event viewer. When challenged he got very rude and even started screaming down the phone that how dare I waste HIS time! Reported and blocked.

Called me at 06:39 on Saturday 17 December 2022, which was annoying. No-one on the other end. May just have been accidental or may have been something else.
SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.
