THIS TEL. NO. 0208 064 1448 HAS CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES RECENTLY. SIRLUTE SHOWS ON MY PHONE AS THE CALLING COMPANY. I HAVE GOOGLED THIS NAME AND IT IS APPARENTLY A CHARITY. THE PERSON CALLING SAYS THEY ARE FROM A COMPUTER SECURITY/ANTI VIRUS COMPANY.
This number has called me twice this week, also an identical message from 01362858456, they say they are a bank security and money as been taken out of my account with a larger amount pending. The 01544 number is a local code - all very annoying and worrying.

Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call. Resin driveway scam. Reverse call back revealed name of company as Telepro Marketing (dial 141 before calling back number to suppress your telephone number, so they cant see you called them).
Claimed to have received information saying I had unsecured debt, but when I asked for info about who I apparently have this unsecured debt with, he told me he didn't have that info and kept asking fir my personal info. When I wouldn't give it to him, he hung up. BLOCKED!!

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

Scam Number... When answered, you hear the "hiccup" meaning you were on an Autodialer and because you've answered, the "hiccup" sound is where the computer is connecting a scam agent. Personally, any call I hear that sound, I hang up, search the number and 9 out of 10 times (9/10) end up Barring the Number. Hope this helps.

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.
