A man with a strong asian accent called saying that he was from BT and there was a problem with my router. I told him that I would contact BT direct.

Started by stating as if fact they were calling in relation to a traffic accident I had, when queried they widened it to in the last 5 years. Alarm bells went off, I said I had but no injuries claim closed and they then tried to push on that and I said bye and closed call. Sharks...

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. I suspect this company called my company switchboard based on my LinkedIn profile as I have never supplied my work number outside of work and is not publicly advertised. Cold called to ask whether I had a UK pension because they can give me ?advice?. Yeah right. SCAMRADAR activated.

Didn't answer the call... The number doesn't allow incoming calls when I tried it. Sick of these nussiance calls. Number blocked.
