Male Caller, stated he was from car phone warehouse and wanted to let me know about a special offer they have running. I asked how he had come by my phone number as I’ve never dealt with the company, but he immediately launched into a sales pitch. I stopped him saying he should not be phoning my number as it is registered with TPS. He said thank you and hung up.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I was called today, January 20 th 2021, the automated voice claimed to be calling from The UK Crime Agency stating that there had been a number of illegal activities involving my National Insurance Number and so it would be suspended and a new one issued when I dialled 1 to sleak to an official, I hung up.
He opened the call...dont worry I am not selling Gas or electric. He then went on to ask if I wanted to sell my business. I said, if you had done your research properly you would see that I am not the owner, only a director. Head office overseas own it. He still argued with me, anyway on closing teh call I told him to wake up. he was the most NON dynaic person I have ever spoken to on the phone. Really shady caller office. Offering a job just to get personal details. Deal with caution. If asked to send and ID . blurr out the personal info (not more than they already have) . A quick track back showed multiple old computer network in the same building with VOIP setup in INDIA. A relay point in UK was found aswell (possibly a rented server) . I did enroll a local police force on the adress.
