He told me his records show that as my washing machine warranty was about to expire he would renew it. When I asked him where he got my details from he terminated the call. The number was not recognised when I dialled it. How can you trust a company which spoofs its telephone number.

Received a call today from "Martin" who claimed to be from TPS, confirmed my phone number (which he rang to), my name and address and then asked me to confirm my expiry date for credit/debit card - when posed the question "why" he needed to know financial details for a free service, he suggested It was for verification purposes - I declined and asked from which company he was calling, at which point the phone went dead - SCUM!
