This number calls and claims to be investors. Very rude individuals who call and push you to invest and they are so rude when you decline. They keep changing numbers but it is the same network of people - they are using different numbers to call - I have already blocked at least 10 other numbers they have used to contact me- stay well clear of them please!! If anyone has any idea how to stop them from calling please advise.
A lady phoned today - 17/04/23 - at 4.45pm, to ask me about home insulation, etc. I don't need this, and I said it was a scam. She put the phone down. Perhaps not a scam?????

Fraud. Said they were BT Openreach and I needed to log on to my computer and follow his instructions to improve internet speed. Asked him to tell me my BT account no, he just made up a string if numbers and I asked him the bill payers name he said it was the name of my town!

Call center Asked for my wife by name, renewal due on TV care package I challenged, said it was a scam because my wife left all TV to me and we have never had cover. I asked for proof and was assured they had proof, when I said my wife had died years ago they could not progress their payment request, as any debt had ceased. I should have progressed further before reporting my wife had died.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. It claimed to be checking about possible fraudulent payments on my account, so it is probably a scam.
This number keeps ringing me in the north of Engand every morning between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 a.m. No-one answers when you pick up the phone.

Called my work asking to speak to the business owner about leads generating. I said to send us an email as none of our management are office based and the guy said ok. Then immediately after I hung up the phone, the same number called back again and a different guy was on the line asking for the business owner again. I said "I just spoke to you guys and you said you'd email us" then hung up o him. nuisance callers!
