Unfortunately, the development of technology is a tumb up in our lives as well as a tumb down for our security and privacy. In this case is better not to answer and the ringing stops if dismissed.

I got a call telling me I was entitled to £2000 towards new windows. When I asked where the caller had got my details she said I was on their database. I informed her that I was registered with TPS.
Manchester number. Manchester accent. Knew my name. Said "I'm calling you today because you still haven't claimed your full PPI, you know, payment protection insurance". Never had a loan. Hung up.

Im getting 5 calls a day from this number. I dont ever answer it. A few days ago I had to call lendingstream.co.uk on my mobile because they had a robot calling my landline several times a day after an ex-lodger who d taken a loan with them. My landline went straight to the robot hence used mobile. After calling lendingstream on my mobile I started getting 01267226769 calls. First time Ive had nuisance calls. I did ask them to stop calling me and to delete my mobile number as well as email from their database number of times and they called again !! They appear to have changed tactics - they now phone claiming that I m due compensation because of illness on holiday in the past 3 years. This hasn t happened and I asked them how they got hold of my number - they said from my holiday company, which is strange because I always put a no against any desire to share information with a 3rd party. When I said I was inTPS and would sue them if they called again, they said l couldnt do that...hilarious. when I asked for their name they hung up. Avoid.
