I gave my details to a Fake BBC New story on Facebook about trading software and this company keeps calling me. I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive. They are looking for me to "activate my account and upload £200 on a debit/credit card".

Fraud pretending to be from Amazon, Computerised call from France in a English speaking computerised bot.
I receive many such calls but they never leave a message. If a message was left I would respond. If I answered all such calls I wouldn't have sufficient time to run my own business. This is the last time I shall respond in this manner.......if you are not going to leave a message then please don't waste my time and all future such calls will be blocked .....

Some foreign sounding person with a croaky voice, calling about a motor "accident compensation", claiming to be acting on behalf of the "Motor Insurance Bureau".... Tell them Nothing... I Asked them to tell me the date of the "accident" and the Registration number of vehicles involved... They then hung up immediately... Obviously Phishing for information.... ????.

SCAM called from this number telling me that someone was trying to use my visa card online for a charge of £900 and asking me to press 1 to call them and confirm it wasn't me. Didn't call them but rang visa and they confirmed it was a scam. I think if you hit one they ring you back and scam you for your details then rip you off !

I don't think this is a safe number - appears to come from a house in Mansfield Road, Bournemouth but the message says there has been unusual activity on your card mentioning Amazon & an international bank transfer. There aren't any banks in Mansfield Road. It doesn't mention what bank is involved & you can't call the number back I think this is a scam.

Call center Asked for my wife by name, renewal due on TV care package I challenged, said it was a scam because my wife left all TV to me and we have never had cover. I asked for proof and was assured they had proof, when I said my wife had died years ago they could not progress their payment request, as any debt had ceased. I should have progressed further before reporting my wife had died.

Do not be duped into calling this number. Called from Citizens advice group. I questioned the male caller with a south Asian accent in some detail. He was very helpful. They were calling about debts and he asked what debts we had. I asked him where they got our number and he replied FCA ????????????. I then asked him for the person or department name as I have previously worked with FCA in the past, he didn’t give it to me. He was very polite and said he couldn’t continue. He also said they weren’t authorised in the UK!
