Answered the call and was asked if I have problems with debts etc When I answered No the girl I spoke to put the phone down. I could hear lots if other people talking on a phones in a background and it sounded like a typical call centre. I advice not to trust.

Received phone call asking me if I had paid into a pension, said they were a review body and has got my name, address and mobile number from a government agency. He said he would give me his details so I could feel happier about doing the review but I declined saying I was not prepared to give out or confirm anything.

I made a purchase over the phone and instantly regretted it as I was worried I'd just been scammed, but I rang up Carphone Customer Services and it was a legitimate transaction that had gone through their system.
