call from this number Monday 6th March at 13.50 when an automated voice said I was about to spend £700 + on an Amazon order and that they had halted the transaction pending my pressing button 1. I smelt a rat and hung up then Googled the number to find this site. I'm confident it was a hoax.

I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart. TAXES / HMRC Automated call Fraud Scam I had this number ring me an auto message started about 9seconds in and saying its from HMRC then it cut out mid sentence. I rang back the number a good couple of times and keeps telling me phone is switched off. Not sure if its a scam/fraud
