Went on to ask me to press '2' to cancel the transactions, so I hung up and checked the phone number out. It is unobtainable and has no ratings with you so I wrote this one. Take care. strange unsolicited call from number belonging to: 'W A Read & Sons Ltd' Upon answer there was no reply and the phone put down. I called them several times over and got redirected to voicemail until they eventually gave up and answered. Lady picked up and I asked "What do you want"? No response and phone was put down. This happened two more times. They then disconnected the phone it seems.

I was called from 01733385646 and because I come from Peterborough I answered it. It was an automated voice stating that there had been a number of charges made against a card, going on to say that one was for Amazon. They were so obviously not from any bank as they did not say which bank, card, etc., Therefore I just put the phone down. When I tried to call the number back it went dead as if not recognised. Thus I conclude that this could be a scam!
This number is a scam. Do not confirm any details, do not enter into conversation and immediately hang up or even better, do not answer.

Safe number NHS. This was a call from Hinckley and Bosworth Medical Alliance about an out of hours appointment. The number came up on my phone as possible Scam, but it is genuine. Google it. Apparantly number is also used by complete business systems.
