I didn't answer to this call, because my phone showed me that is a potential fraud, so I blocked it right away!
Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call. Sounded like a young asian woman with call centre noises in background.

SCAM - somebody called to ask to speak to my husband regarding his business account with British Gas. When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). They gave me a reference number and asked if my husband could call them. It all sounded very plausible - please be aware.

This is a SCAM. The call started with a woman stating she was from Virgin Media and had noted problems with my router; asked if I had also noticed this. I said I hadn't. She said she could help me resolve the problem. I told her she couldn't, not least because I wasn't with Virgin Media. She told me she could help because all the providers' support centres were working together on this. I told her 'nice try' and hoped the weather was good in Delhi, or wherever she was 'phoning from. Then I hung up.

One of those robot calls saying calling from Amazon prime but I don’t even hold an account so it’s a spam called attempting fraud
Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.

07834756958 A Person calls up and says I think you have my phone. (Strange as I've had this number for over 10yrs.) Told him I think you got a wrong number. Then get a text saying sorry to bother you I got a few numbers the wrong way around. Possibly someone doing research to see if the number is active to put it on scam site. Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

I didn't answer this number, as I do not know it, I don't know anyone in London. It rang my mobile number, but never left a message , even though the answering machine kicked in. The map was not clear enough for me to see what part of London the call came from

Today, someone called my number and claimed that they needed to repair my house. When I told them that they were a scammer, they immediately disconnected. The person sounded like they were from India and struggled with English.
