This is a very dangerous scam everyone. Nearly got me...
Overseas noisy background call centre female claiming to be from ‘the technical department’ not a specific company just technical department. Red flags were didn’t know my name or address. I challenged her told her she was talking rubbish about being a technical department. I used a few choice profanities to which she called me a few! I asked her if those were technical terms and she hung up! Obvious scamming call. The call was at 08:45 on a Saturday.

Was told we were in the wrong council tax band. We're paying to much. If we let them do the legal work for a fee of about £90 or so! It would be sorted out for us. I hung up on them. Pretty sure this is a scam

Believe a scam - I had a letter which says it is from Lloyds Bank ( we do have a Lloyds Business a/c) but when rang this number on the letter they couldn't find our account by searching via name or post code or by ref number on letter - they asked for our account number which I didn't give or if I had a business card with me - I hung up - the phone number location for this number given above is a field near Blackburn in Lancashire but the address on letter is Edinburgh

This was an Automated machine call stating it was HMRC (07278-161158). I am not aware of any issues I have with HMRC and reason to search if this is a scam.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. This company reported to be Heating Services, claims to act on behalf of British Gas Homecare and deals with all their support services. They rang to say they are reducing the cost of my homecare cover and including plumbing and electricity repairs. All I need to do is amend my Direct Debit. This is a company scamming customers as they had all me details.
