It said dear Jan, You have an appointment on 13/01/23 at Homerton Hospital reply yes 1642 to confirm attendance, rebook 1642, and text cancel 1642 if the appointment is no longer needed. missed appointments cost NHS £160. Thanks for your support. It is the second time I received this message on my mobile to confirm my appointment. I will be phoning Homerton Hospital on the 9th of January 2023 referring to this and other things.

I believe this is a scam. I let call go to answerphone, message said they were checking 2 charges, 1 from Amazon, 1 from international banking.
Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.

Sent me a weird message asking for information, under the disguise of a being an old friend. I checked this website, this number was located in Russia (despite being a UK number). Very odd.
Automated message left telling me there was a £300 and £1000 charge on my card. (No mention of which card). This was incorrect and therefore message is most likely a scam.

Fraud or scam - asked me abut a report I'd made about repairs required to my home. I'd made no such report, put the phone down.

The callers from this number are scammers. They called claiming to be 3 Mobile and wanted me to upgrade to a new contract when I only just renewed my contract with the real 3 Mobile a couple of months back and my existing contract is locked for another 10 months. When I asked the idiot to email me the offer to review, they asked me for my email address and if they were really 3 Mobile they would already have it in their records. Microsoft from Reading called from this number and repeated the call 3 times despite scepticsm. Apparently all our devices have been hacked. It was difficult getting them off the phone but although they were convincing I think this was a scam caller that tried to keep us on the line and did so for 12 mins!!
