This number has called constantly the past few days, always on my mobile first and when I don't answer that, they ring my landline, straight away. No message is ever left, really annoying. I've now blocked the number on both my mobile and my landline - if it's important they should have left a message, so I can only assume it's a scam or aggressive sales.
Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1183280xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. They ring daily and say they are calling back to discuss a survey i have supposedly filled in recently, when i refuse they keep asking and asking if i will answer their questions so clearly there's an incentive for them. when i demanded my number to be deleted, i was then told they would only do this if i answered the questions and when i continued to refuse they hang up. they haven't got the message as the calls just keep coming :(
