This is a genuine call/text from HSBC Fraud Department. Thought it might be a scam so I contacted HSBC from the number on the back of my Business Commercial Card and they put me through to their Fraud Department who knew all about the contact request without me having to provide the reference number. They told me all the transactions I had made on my card and all I had to do was confirm them. My card was unblocked straight away. I was just called by somebody saying they were from UK Financial. The said they had a cheque for me for money i was owed from bank charges. They knew my address then asked me to confirm my date of birth. I told them i was not giving it to them as i had never heard of them. When i said this they hung up!

They told me they work together with UK company called Green Energy UK. I contacted Green Energy UK and in fact they do not corporate with anyone. I was offered to meet and talk about benefits of having solar panels, but I doubt I go because they were already lying to me about their corporation.
