Foreign sounding guy rang trying to tell me I needed to change life assurance cover because of new government legislation. When I told him I worked for a financial advisor who handed all my financial needs he persisted to argue with me, after telling him three times I was not interested and to take my name off his list I ended up hanging up on him. Annoying argumentative man.

The number is not related to them however if you were to search Advantis this is the first company you will find. Do not call them back! This number called me a few minutes ago, but no one answered when i said 'hello'. gave them a few seconds to respond, but nothing, so put the phone down and checked number on 1471. Pain in the neck! I am registered with the TPS , but that makes no difference these days, still get nuisance calls.

I answer the number and got a recorded message about claiming back bank charges. I pressed 5 to speak to an advisor as I have never paid bank charges and I have been registered with the TPS for over 10 years. The lady said she was from Consumer Advice Centre in Swansea and she said they buy in contact details and all the TPS registered numbers were supposed to have been removed, but obviously they haven't.
