I am registered with TPS which is supposed to stop these calls, obviously this number didnt look at the website otherwise they wouldnt have called me. Cant have been important when I missed the call as they left no message on my voicemail, probably trying to sell something and not worth talking to

Looked up Biwater website as I have worked for Water Projects and knew the name to confirm my thoughts. Personally wouldn t trust them. Our business water provider already give discounts. Well spoken young male Caller stated "Hello my names Chris and I am a heating insulation advisor in your post code area" or something very similar. Clearly not the case as the caller's number was displayed on my phone. I replied " No you're not you are a bastard scammer" Chis replied OK and rang off.

Steve is correct, it is Bauer Media. If you ve entered your number online somewhere for a free magazine (I d asked for Marie Claire / Instyle) then they re calling for your address. Theyll also offer you 3 issues for £1.00. Spoke to a lovely lady and she asked if I wanted future calls for offers and so I said no. It s all legit. However, they need to work on their employees... I had another call minutes later from a guy there who was on the phone to someone else!!

I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.

Called today 30/10/20. No answer, for me it is annoying.
Recorded message says it is PayPal and that they have noticed 2 payments this morning that I have made for large sums of money and to ring 1 ,2 etc if not me and 3 to listen to message again. I ignored it as was busy, just rang the number and spoke to a poor lady that said she has had several calls and she lives in Hull and it is obviously not her. She was very apologetic, not that it is her fault. Surely the Telephone service can stop this from happening.

SCAM Claimed to be a company called Arora Called my landline. Knew my full name but had called my husband's mobile immediately before - very odd. I asked him to remove me from his database and he said, "Why? Don't you want your monay?" Then hung up.
