Someone called from this number to ask me about my workplace pension, they knew I was no longer paying into it, and that I had been paying in for around 5 years, maybe some of these were guesses, but foolishly I agreed to speak to one of their advisers . I was cold called from this number by a female with a distinct Indian accent, who did not announce herself or why she was calling. When specifically asked she said her name was "Caroline" and purported to be from Carphone Warehouse, offering me a new mobile phone contract. However, the first question I was asked was about the phone I am currently using and my mobile phone provider. I had to repeat several times that I was not interested before she got the message and hung up.
