UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message). Our phone number is a victim of Caller ID Spoofing - our VOIP/telephone services company has advised that they are not able to stop it (nobody can!) and we just have to wait it out. In the meantime, we have temporarily changed our phone number on our we

AUTOMATED CALL - SCAM Automated call saying there had been 2 attempts to pay for goods from my card, one of which was over £1000. Saying to complete my debit card details in order to prevent fraud. Called claiming to be from a utility company. They were very pushy and wouldn't listen when they were told they had the wrong person. I asked them to remove mu details from their system but they continue to call at least 8 times a day. I have blocked the number but then it goes straight to my answerphone and all I get silent messages with the sound of people laughing in the background.

Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.
