Does not tie in with any published Natwest numbers on their website though so I'm not calling it.
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers - unclaimed bank charges, PPI, uncalimed financial services. I would recommend to block the whole 08437243xxx range... Did someone answer this number?

Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.
I will let you all into a little secret shall I? It s not the callers who are intentionally calling you. And no matter how many times you ask to stop the calls - the management are the ones who feed your number back into the system to be called. Even though it s against the rules - if there is no data left to dial, they will just keep calling the same numbers even though it s against the data protection act. They are not allowed to do this. But they do. Many a time employees have spoken out and stood up

Just had a call from this number 001-979-823-4079. Guy with poor english said the files on my Windows computer were infected by a download of infected files. Wanted to speak to the owner of the PC. After stringing him along for a while I told him to get lost as it was a scam. He hung up.
