Automated message claiming to be from Amazon Prime about charging my renewal to a Visa credit card. Asked me to press 1 or 2 for customer services. I hung up and checked my Amazon account. My subscription doesn't expire until July and I don't have a Visa card registered with Amazon. Clearly a scam.

Was messaged by this number claiming to be NHS tracing, warning me that I’ve been in contact with someone with Omnicron.

Fake hmrc number

I can confirm this is a scam purporting to be Lloyds Bank. It’s an automated voice and they had my name and home number. I did not do what they asked but terminated the call and phoned Lloyds Bank myself. Definitely a scam, 24th July 2022

Fraud (Call back scam) They hung up as soon as I answered. It's the tedious call back scam where naive people (marks) call back thinking that it's a local/national number when, in fact, the return call is redirected to a premium rate number without the mark's knowledge. Works well with the drunk, those on drugs, the vulnerable and Boris voters.

Call saying Amazon were taking £79.99 from my a/c and press 1 to cancel the transaction or 2 to speak to advisor. I put phone down. I notice callers are introducing themselves with very English christian names, when clearly have Asian accents.! When challenged, they end the call.

Instead, they are trying to hack in to your account and need you to tell them the one-time passcode that gets sent to your phone. SCAM I received a client enquiry from this person, he quickly became very inappropriate talking about BDSM and how he wanted Me to be his submissive, I have repeatedly asked Jim to leave Me alone but he doesn't and seems to thrive of passive aggressive text messages, claiming 'He has plans for Me.'
