Got a call today from this number. The guy didn t introduce himself but said he was from Google marketing and wanted £180 to put my page on a first page search. (I do this myself already). I said I could do what he was offering for next to nothing and at that point the caller got aggressive, I hung up him. He s obviously a chancer trying to scam people out of money. They appear to have changed tactics - they now phone claiming that I m due compensation because of illness on holiday in the past 3 years. This hasn t happened and I asked them how they got hold of my number - they said from my holiday company, which is strange because I always put a no against any desire to share information with a 3rd party. When I said I was inTPS and would sue them if they called again, they said l couldnt do that...hilarious. when I asked for their name they hung up. Avoid.
