This number called and didn't leave a message I don't recognise the number I havnt got a clue who they are.

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. received letter saying had won ?825,000.00 and to ring this number. Did not ring as letter said a "processing fee" had to be paid in order to get "winnings". SCAM. Sent letter back in their envelope telling them to "f**k off".

Young woman called year masquerading as 1st Central insurance, who I am insured with. Very dangerous. Number plays a "not in service" message when called.

This number keeps ringing me daily, I keep missing the call (Not sure if it just rings once or not), when I try to call back, it s not possible. Who is this and how do I block it??

Telemarketing for PPI claims. Nuisance calls as they keep calling once or twice a day, sometimes hang up without speaking. When they do speak they try to give the impression that they already have details of what you can claim for while asking intrusive questions. They have twice told me that I will be removed from their call list.
