Received a call from 01217448612. Someone with a south Asian accent in what sounded like a call centre, pretending to be from BT (old scam, saying there was a problem with the Internet connection). I checked on sites such as this and couldn't find anything so I called the number). It was answered by someone with a very different accent, in a silent background environment, who assured me it was her home landline. Can dodgy callers now have someone else's number given on the display of the person they call?

Fake number, foreign scammer. The dial code might look like Blandford but it isan international call with a spoofed number. Been going since at least July 2018 ans still running in October.

Called 26/11/19 at 08:36. Claiming to be from Microsoft. Got annoyed when I didn t believe him. Had my mother inlaws name and offered to read me the license number to prove he was genuine. Mother in law has not had this lap top in a few months.He was getting very aggressive and pushy.
