Rang asking to book me for 3 hours calling me Mistress etc

Was called twice today from this number. Neither time was a message left when the call went to voicemail. In view of other reports here have barred the number.

It's an claim call centre, I'm sure they are not allowed to cold call like they are doing!

asking for a name of someone made up. Then said who pays for the gas and electric in the house. ? Sounded like a child or very young woman. Never said who they were or what company. Very childish.

Had a call from 01889878244 last Week. Around the 20/06/13. Hung up on Me! Try to call it back, No such Number. So I just Blocked the Number. If You are receiving Any such calls ask Your Phone Provider for the code You can enter to Block calls from the Last Caller!!

I have had several calls from this and other numbers,they always hang up when I answer.This only started after I went online,a few days ago,to get some car insurance quotes.Silly me!I gave out personal information to several firms,now I am getting nuisance calls.So,this number may well be insurance industry related.My advice,never give your telephone number to someone you do not know and trust.

I ve had three missed calls from this number in as many weeks, I finally answered in time and it was someone from a local Honda garage (wirral based) asking about a car I had serviced with them recently, told them I d since sold it and they said they would update their records. Looks like tele-marketing as I m sure the next question would have been if I was interested in purchasing a new one instead.....

Caller rings on average once a week, I will not answer it, if its important they ll leave a message on answerphone. I ve tried calling the number back but all I get is a recorded message saying this service is no longer available , very odd. This number has called four times in the past 24 hours, claiming to be from TalkTalk. I called TalkTalk who said it is not their number. When the number called back (from a call centre overseas) they hung up when I informed there I knew it was a scam call.

Very aggressive foreign caller told me a woman in Mexico was trying to access my computer and it would be disconnected for about 25 days. First he said he was Windows security and when I said all our devices were Apple he said he was calling from Apple security. I asked to speak to his supervisor, who was English, but finally I hung up. Much more aggressive than any other cold call I e had.
