Two calls today from this number, both using the same script on home security. Asked for me by name on a business line which is CPR listed so legally should not receive any unsolicited sales or marketing calls. They introduced themselves as "Crime Prevention Officers" looking into recent spate of burglaries in area and gave the impression they were connected to the police if not actually officers. As we had an attempted burglary recently I thought it was the follow up I had been promised. BUT...it was the

Phoned to say money had been taken from my account to pay amazon and sent abroad, kept asking for my account number, told him i would phone the fraud dept at my bank and give them his number and they can talk to each other. He then rang off, now blocked this number.

Company calling about an 'inciden't' that supposedly I had reported. They hung up when I said I didn't know what they were talking about.
We came home today to 11 missed calls. They called on the hour every hour and voice mail silent. Blocked now so good riddance.

Just another sod sitting in a cramped call-centre based in South Africa, trying to tell me that my bank owes PPI to you.
