Automated call from the national crimes agency. National insurance number going to be cancelled. Seriously, can they not come up with a better scam idea.

Random call saying I was about to get arrested for tax fraud... Lasted 30 secs telling me to press 1 for more details about the offense.
Has anyone got any ideas, as I even rung this number back to get a very silly quick dialing followed by beeping noises. It is a bit irritating getting calls from this number, supposedly from the Huddersfield area.
Phoned my Mother. Not sure who it was, she said they said dial 1 or some such. We do not know people in that area.

had about 10 calls from these muppets over the last couple of weeks when 1 of their "operatives" told me i was entitled to claim back ppi on loans that i had previously. I resorted to good old fashioned Anglo-Saxon to make my point.But they clearly dont learn as they have tried to contact me on my wifes mobile again tonight
Scam call claiming to be inland revenue. I let this call go to voicemail. A digital American woman told me that they where preparing a case against me and if I didn't call the number supplied I would be in big trouble. The caller was fairly aggressive in tone. This could cause a vulrenable person to panic

Constantly ringing. Numbers been blocked. Don't answer numbers I don't know especially when the leave no message.
This is a local phone number to me. A recorded message,claiming to be from debit card reporting a payment of £900 was used on online shopping. This is obviously a scam, as there are no banking facilities in this area Automated call SCAM
